HiFi Workshop: Active vs Passive with Avantgarde Acoustic

On May 9, 2026, Alex Giese invites you to a special hi-fi workshop in Hanover. Together with Matthias Böde from STEREO magazine, the event will explore the differences between active and passive system concepts.

At the center of the workshop is a direct comparison using the same loudspeaker system, the Avantgarde Acoustic DUO GT. A fully active version will be compared with passive setups, including both transistor and tube amplification.

Carefully selected accessories will provide the final refinement and allow for a detailed listening experience.
